I’ve lived here since 2004 and love this friendly little corner of New Zealand. It’s a privilege to share the beauty of the place I’m lucky enough to call home.

During my years as a professional speaker, educator, and author specialising in productivity and time management, I was welcomed by generous hosts all over the world. Now it’s my pleasure to return the favour, hosting travellers from near and far, as well as many fellow Kiwis.

Community is close to my heart. Over the years I’ve volunteered with a range of organisations, and today I serve as Chair of our local Community & Business Association. It’s a joy to work alongside wonderful locals as our seaside community flourishes, while still keeping its relaxed, welcoming feel.

When I’m not busy with community matters, you’ll often find me writing. I’ve authored ten books, contribute monthly to local publications, and also work as a professional editor. Otherwise, I might be planning my next adventure, out on a yacht somewhere, or enjoying precious time with my seventeen grandchildren.

Clarks Beach is special—peaceful, scenic, and full of heart. My hope is that while you’re here, you’ll feel right at home, slow down a little, and enjoy the same simple pleasures that drew me here many years ago.
